2.4 Fantasy leagues

Fantasy leagues are free: there are no entry fees, prizes or money of any kind. If you create or join a league, we store the following in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore):

  • An anonymous identifier created for your installation of the app. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
  • The league name and team name you choose, and when you joined
  • Your weekly lineups
  • Any report you send about a league

Members of the same league can see your team name and your lineups; each player in a lineup becomes visible to them when his game starts. You can leave a league at any time from its menu, which removes your membership straight away. Names must not be offensive, and any league can be reported from its menu.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the functionality of the app
  • Display up-to-date and relevant sports content
  • Improve and optimize app performance
  • Personalize your user experience
  • Show relevant advertising through Google AdMob
  • Analyze usage in order to improve our services

  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • Service providers: Google AdMob for advertising, ESPN for sports data, Google Firebase for fantasy league accounts and storage
  • Legal compliance: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets
  • With your consent: When you give us specific permission

5. Advertising and Google AdMob

Our app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect information about your device and app usage in order to show personalized advertising.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Usage data: 2 years from last activity
  • Fantasy league data: until the end of the following NFL season — a league from the 2026 season is deleted automatically on 1 March 2028 — or sooner if you ask us
  • Contact information: Until you request its deletion
  • Crash data: 90 days for technical analysis
  • Server logs: 30 days for security and performance

9. Underage Users

Our app is designed for general audiences and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place.
